Hello! I’m Asael Aburto, a sports creative focused on visual storytelling, social media strategy, and content production. I recently graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a minor in Communications, where I gained hands-on experience producing video, graphics, and photography within Division I athletic environments.

During my time at WSU, I worked as a Creative Video Intern with WSU Athletics while also building my own content brand, AsaelContentCo, collaborating on projects that blend branding, culture, and fan engagement through digital storytelling.

As a first-generation college graduate and multi-sport collegiate athlete, my journey has been shaped by discipline, resilience, and leadership. Competing in both cheerleading and volleyball throughout college taught me how to communicate effectively, work within high-performing teams, and stay composed in fast-paced environments. I’m passionate about capturing the emotion and energy of sports, with long-term goals of continuing to grow within sports media, social media, and creative storytelling at the professional level.
